SAN JOSE, CA--(Marketwired - March 30, 2016) - Heritage Commerce Corp (NASDAQ: HTBK) announced today that Jeffrey Javier has joined the Bank as Senior Vice President in charge of business development for the Corporate Finance Division.

Mr. Javier comes to Heritage Bank of Commerce from Avidbank where, as Senior Vice President and Head of Business Development for Corporate Finance, he helped build their portfolio by originating new loans and managing a loan portfolio for the division. Prior to Avidbank, Mr. Javier was Senior Vice President at Bridge Bank where he was a team leader for the Bridge Capital Finance Group, managing Asset Based and Technology lending portfolios. Prior to those roles, he held a similar position at Silicon Valley Bank.
