A SOC 1 report (formerly SAS 70) is a report on controls at a service organization, which are relevant to user entities' internal control over the consistent delivery of services when compared with market standards and internal policies. A SOC 2 report is performed in accordance with AT 101 and based upon the trusted service principles, with the ability to test and report on the design (Type 1) and operating (Type 2) effectiveness of a service organization's controls. In combination, the audits provide Smartronix Cloud Assured customers with independent assessments of the company's internal controls over financial reporting and control environment relevant to CAMS system security.
