OddsShark Finds the Odds are in Canada's Favor if Trump Wins US Election

The phrase "How can I move to Canada?" spiked almost 1,150 percent after Trump dominated Super Tuesday, and interest has only grown from there.

HALIFAX, NOVA SCOTIA, CANADA, March 15, 2016 /EINPresswire.com/ -- With the American presidential primary season in full swing there has been serious discussion about moving to Canada if Donald Trump becomes the next president. Trump was once a 150-to-1 longshot to become the next POTUS. To put that into perspective that is the same odds the Cleveland Browns have of winning, or you have of being audited by the IRS (150-to-1), and only slightly better odds than you writing a New York Times’ bestseller (220-to-1).

The phrase "How can I move to Canada?" spiked almost 1,150 percent after Trump dominated Super Tuesday, and interest has only grown from there. With interest high OddsShark has broken down the numbers on what life would be like north of the border.

Is Canada really a better choice than the United States?

OddsShark’s research team took a look at the two countries to find out where your odds were better or worse for different events and the advantage seems to go to Canada. For one, you are much less likely to be murdered in Canada. There is a 1-in-22,222 chance of someone taking your life in the United States compared to just 1-in-70,000 in Canada. But it’s not just people that are less dangerous. So is the bacon. Canadian Bacon, or back bacon, is substantially healthier for you than the strip bacon most Americans enjoy. America does have its perks, including cheaper food and a 10-1 chance of seeing your favorite music act live.

These are a small cross-section of life in Canada or the United States, but there’s one statistic Canadians know for sure, there is a zero percent chance Donald Trump becomes the Prime Minister.
