/EINPresswire.com/ --  Marmot Basin is set to host the fourth stop of the Northern Series this weekend on Saturday, March 12. The slopestyle event will be open to male and female athletes of all ages and abilities and will be divided into grassroots and competitive categories.Registration for the event will be held 8:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. on the second floor of the lower chalet. Medal presentations will be held from 3:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on the back deck of the lower chalet.

"Alberta Snowboarding Association is encouraging residents in the area to come out and support the athletes," said Chelsea Webster, Director of Operations at ASA. "ASA is excited to provide youth in Jasper area with more opportunities to get involved in the sport. This event will allow local riders to showcase their skills in a more competitive yet fun atmosphere."
