Adorama Reviews Newly Launched Olympus Pen F

A Hands-On Review Recently Published in Adorama Learning Center (ALC) Focuses on Olympus' Stylish Digital Reboot of the Pen F

/EINPresswire.com/ -- NEW YORK, NY -- (Marketwired) -- 02/26/16 -- Adorama, one of the world's largest photography, video and audio, imaging and electronics retailers, recently published a review of Olympus Corporation's newly launched Olympus Pen F in Adorama Learning Center (ALC). The Pen F -- which is a digital reboot of the original Olympus Pen F, Pen FT, and Pen FV -- was unveiled on January 27, 2016. It goes on sale starting February 26, 2016.

The newly launched Olympus Pen F

The Pen F review was written by photographer and Adorama editor Mason Resnick. A review video by Adorama Pro's Daniel Norton was also included in Mason's review. Both Mason and Daniel tested the Pen F's features and camera modes by taking shots on the streets of NYC.

Both had glowing things to say about Olympus' stylish new mirrorless interchangeable lens camera. "I found it to be an impressive camera that puts an impressive degree of fine image quality control at your fingertips -- and does so in a user-friendly, intuitive fashion," notes Mason.

Retro Design, State-of-the-Art Technology

Mason goes on to highlight the Pen F's key features, including its 20 Megapixel Live MOS sensor, powerful 5-axis image stabilization, and innovative Monochrome and Color Profile Control. He explores the various Pen F features and test-drove the different camera modes.

Mason's test shots include photos of the Rockefeller Center in each of the four supplied formats and photos taken using the various settings of the Creative Control Dial. While the Pen F has no built-in flash, it can accommodate external flashes such as the Fujifilm FL-LM3.

The Olympus Pen F can be ordered from Adorama in black or silver body. The Olympus ECG-4 metal grip for the Pen F can also be ordered from Adorama.
