Energy Department Makes Up to $7 Million Available for Technical Assistance to Tribes

The Energy Department's Office of Indian Energy announced the availability of up to $7 million to establish an inter-tribal technical assistance energy providers' network to assist Indian tribes and Alaska Native communities. Under this initial pilot, the Office of Indian Energy is seeking applications from inter-tribal organizations and Alaska Native Regional Corporations interested in establishing internal energy experts to provide technical energy assistance and informational resources to their member Indian tribes, including Alaska Native villages.
