New author debuts with a startling first novel which explores the mind of a deranged killer.

LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM, January 12, 2016 /EINPresswire.com/ -- First time author Alex Lawson has taken the brave step of inhabiting the mind of a psychopath in her debut novel, The Journals of a Psychopath. Inspired by incidents in her own life, Alex has created a dark story that attempts to go beyond the usual stereotypical serial killer books and allow the reader to feel the breath of a truly evil person.

Already garnering critical acclaim the book has just been released by Mirador Publishing who seem to be making a bit of a name for themselves in spotting new literary talent and launching the careers of first time authors. Drawing on personal experience of being stalked for many years Lawson is hesitant about attracting too much attention and is writing under a pseudonym with her true identity remaining a closely guarded secret by her publishers.
