TAIPEI, TAIWAN, December 3, 2015 /EINPresswire.com/ -- The prologue for the second “Asia Super Teams” contest sponsored by the Bureau of Foreign Trade was held by the Taiwan External Trade Development Council on October 12th. Enterprise elites from six nations have arrived at the fishing and farming villages in Tainan and Chiayi on October 13th to participate in the traditional Taiwanese challenges such as scarecrow binding, oyster cutting, and salt carrying.The critically acclaimed multinational conference and incentive travel marketing “Asia Super Teams” contest event of the MEET TAIWAN plan debuted last year. The second contest expanded this year and included teams of elites from Japan, South Korea, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, and Australia. They arrived in Taiwan yesterday to participate in fierce 5-day and 4-night field competitions. The event this year is closely linked to corporate social responsibility (CSR), and the six national teams are invited to “Report for Good Deeds.”

The first stop for the elites from the six countries is the Jing Liao Let It Be Community in Tainan City (known as the “Big Barn of Taiwan”) to understand the development and evolution of traditional rice farming. The contests also experienced bamboo hat painting in a traditional courtyard. They exerted their team spirit and creativity to participate in a fierce scarecrow binding competition. After the competition was over, the six national team members also enjoyed a traditional cuisine—a sumptuous cut rice meal, and experienced the spirit of farming village mutual cooperation.
