Federal Regulators Clear Way for NV Energy Entry Into the Western Energy Imbalance Market

/EINPresswire.com/ -- FOLSOM, CA--(Marketwired - November 20, 2015) - The California Independent System Operator Corporation (ISO) and NV Energy have received direction from the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission that allows the Nevada-based utility to move forward with participating in the western Energy Imbalance Market.
The ISO and NV Energy have begun implementing the final steps needed to begin full and financially binding participation in the real-time market Dec.1, 2015.
