Stand with striking members of Local 833 at Kohler
MILWAUKEE—On Sunday, United Auto Workers Local 833 voted overwhelmingly to go on strike at Kohler Company in order to win a fair contract. Kohler was the site of one of the longest strikes in UAW history in the 1950s and 1960s. You can read more about that strike by clicking on the image below.
Today, citizens wanting to support the workers are encouraged to join the picket line, which will operate 24/7 from the Clock Tower, 444 Highland Drive, Kohler, and to donate by mailing a check to: UAW Local 833 Strike Fund, Emil Mazey Hall, 5425 Superior Avenue, Sheboygan, WI 53083.
