City of Dallas Sources 100% of Its Energy Needs from Wind, Leads U.S. Cities in Green Power Usage

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) recently released its Top 30 Local Government list, which represents the largest green power users among local government partners within the Green Power Partnership. Dallas city facilities use about 715,000 megawatt-hours per year, and as of June 1, 100% percent of that electricity use is offset by renewable energy credits sourced from wind energy.
