Democracy, Human Rights, and Labor: Ambassador David Saperstein Travels to Israel, Jerusalem, the West Bank, Turkey and Egypt
Ambassador-at-Large for International Religious Freedom David Saperstein travels to Israel, Jerusalem, the West Bank, Turkey and Egypt from November 10 – 20.
From November 10 to 15, Ambassador Saperstein is meeting with a wide array of religious leaders, civil society members, parliamentarians and government officials from Israel, Jerusalem, and the West Bank.
From November 16-17, Ambassador Saperstein will be in Turkey where he will deliver keynote remarks at the G20 Interfaith Summit on the connection between religious freedom and sustainable development.
From November 18-22 Ambassador Saperstein will be in Egypt where he will meet with religious leaders and government officials to discuss the importance of protecting religious freedom, human rights and tolerance.
