/EINPresswire.com/ -- HOUSTON, TX -- (Marketwired) -- 11/10/15 -- Rudy's "Country Store" and Bar-B-Q® raised a record amount of $186,347 in October through its annual Pink Cup for A Cause fundraising campaign during National Breast Cancer Awareness Month shattering last year's total of $141,988.

This year, Rudy's Bar-B-Q's Pink Cup for A Cause raised funds for several breast cancer charities that are located within a participating Rudy's location or market. Funds were raised by guests who visited Rudy's Bar-B-Q in October and donated a dollar at checkout. In return, guests received a coupon for a free 32 oz. drink that they can use on their next visit.

"With the funds raised through Cup for A Cause, many women affected by breast cancer and their families will be helped."

Since October 2012, Rudy's Bar-B-Q has transformed their famous plastic cups into the color pink to highlight the Cup for A Cause fundraising campaign for breast cancer. Since then, the Pink Cup for A Cause program has raised more than $500,000 for various breast cancer organizations.
