California ISO Livestreams Symposium Keynote Speakers

/EINPresswire.com/ -- FOLSOM, CA--(Marketwired - October 20, 2015) - International and U.S. energy industry leaders speaking at the California Independent System Operator's annual Stakeholder Symposium this week will stream live via a web link. The event will bring together almost 1,000 energy executives and innovators to share ideas, solutions and visions for a global shift to a clean energy grid.
This year's theme, "Leading the Way to 50 Percent," reflects California's initiative to get half of its energy from renewable sources by 2030, and the state's mission to support greening the grid and fighting climate change.
Presentations by the Symposium's keynote speakers will be livestreamed during the event, Oct. 22 and 23, from the Sacramento Convention Center.

6:45 - 7:30 p.m. (PDT) - Dinner Keynote: Boris Schucht, CEO, 50Hertz, a German electric transmission grid
Friday, Oct 23
9:10 - 9:40 a.m. (PDT) - Breakfast Keynote: The Honorable Cheryl A. LaFleur, Commissioner, Federal Energy Regulatory Commission
