Proper winterization of your car is just one topic covered in the Car Clinic, celebrating Car Care Month, at Extreme Auto Repair, 10274 S. Dransfeldt Rd., on Oct. 17, 10 a.m.–12 p.m. Extreme Auto Repair is located one block west of Parker Road between Mainstreet and Lincoln Avenue.

Admission is free and attendees will be treated to breakfast refreshments. The Car Clinic will cover what to look for in a good mechanic, how to avoid being ripped off, and how to compare good parts from broken or worn-out parts when a repair is necessary. Questions on winter car care and safe motor vehicle operation in cold weather months will also be answered.
