NEWPORT NEWS, VA, USA, August 3, 2015 /EINPresswire.com/ -- Dr. Cal Robinson, Psy.D., MSCP, will be joining Orthopaedic & Spine Center today, providing patients with new methods to help them to manage their chronic pain through psychological counseling and treatment programs.

Dr. Robinson is a Fellowship-trained, certified medical psychologist with an extensive career in pain management and pain medicine. His vast experience ranges from assessment and treatment of behavioral medicine disorders to rehabilitation counseling and Psychopharmacology. His clinical interests center on the theory and practice of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) especially for chronic pain, suffering, abuse and affective disorders.
