ATLANTA – Today, U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) personnel will participate in 4 summer youth camps throughout the North Birmingham area in attempt to reach campers in grades K-7 affected by the environmental issues in North Birmingham.

WHEN: July 21-22, 2015 from 8:00am – 3:00pm
WHERE: Inglenook, North Birmingham, Fountain Heights, Hooper City
EPA staff will conduct environmental education sessions at the following summer camps on the following days:
Tuesday July 21, 2015
Inglenook Recreation Center: 4016-37th Avenue North; Birmingham, AL 35217 9-11:30 A.M.
North Birmingham Recreation Center: 3501- 28th Street North; Birmingham, AL 35207 12:30-3:30 P.M.
Wednesday July 22, 2015
Fountain Heights Recreation Center: 1101 North15th Avenue; Birmingham, AL 35204 9-11:30 A.M.
Hooper City Recreation Center: 3901- 4th Street West; Birmingham, AL 35207 12-3:30 P.M.
Environmental Sessions include:
Energy and Climate Change Scientific Analysis/Laboratory Activities Asthma Lead Based Paint EPA Hazardous Waste Cleanup Demonstration Activities Healthy Homes
