Today we introduce you to two Coca-Cola Co-Founders based in Sydney, Australia. Franki Chamaki (above, right) has brought his expertise in open innovation, crowdsourcing, lean startup development and design thinking to multiple successful startups over the years. Jason Hosking’s experience, meanwhile, spans strategic consulting, venture capital management and disruptive innovation.

Through Coca-Cola Founders, Franki and Jason are building Vending Analytics, a data-driven decisioning platform that optimizes vending operations. Get to know them better here:

Who is your hero?

Franki: Steve Jobs. He disrupted at least four different industries - computing, music, animation and mobile. He was a true visionary.

Jason: My mum

What is your favorite food? 

Franki: Pizza

Jason: Italian, or anything from my BBQ.

What is the best advice you’ve ever received?

Franki: Just start...

Jason: It’s better to regret something you do, than something you don't.

What is your passion or hobby outside of work?

Franki: Mentoring startups, watching re-runs of Seinfeld, kayaking and spending time with my nieces (not in that order).

Jason: Traveling and exploring the globe, playing and watching sports, especially AFL, and supporting the Sydney Swans.

What is your favorite city you've ever visited?

Franki: San Francisco

What's a little known fact about you?

Franki: I'm addicted to cinnamon (please don’t tell anyone).

Jason: On 9/9/1999 I turned 19... 9 is my lucky number.
