May 2015 - With a recent purchase from Solaflect, a local solar provider, municipal facilities in Norwich, Vermont will be entirely powered by solar energy. Norwich's town hall, police and fire station, public works facilities and the speed limit signs will be powered by the purchased solar energy. By sourcing 100 percent of their municipal building's electricity from solar, the town is expected to save approximately $3,000 on its $30,000 annual electric bill.
