Democracy, Human Rights, and Labor: Under Secretary Sewall to Travel to Chicago


Under Secretary for Civilian Security, Democracy, and Human Rights Sarah Sewall will travel to Chicago on April 24.

While in Chicago, Under Secretary Sewall will deliver remarks on atrocity prevention at the Chicago Council on Global Affairs. Council President Ambassador Ivo H. Daalder will moderate the conversation. The event begins at 2:30 p.m. CDT and will be webcast live here.

Also in Chicago, Under Secretary Sewall will visit RefugeeOne, the largest full-service refugee resettlement agency in Illinois, and meet with leadership of World Business Chicago and Chicago Sister Cities International, a public-private partnership that engages business and community leaders to promote Chicago as a global city and create citizen-to-citizen connections.
