European Commission conference on criteria to identify “endocrine disruptors”
A conference on “Endocrine disruptors: criteria for identification and related impacts” organised by the European Commission will take place on 1 June 2015 in Brussels.
According to the Commission’s announcement, the aim of the conference is “to inform Member States, Members of the European Parliament (MEPs), third country representatives and stakeholders about the on-going impact assessment on criteria to identify endocrine disruptors and to provide a platform for further exchanges of views.”
The renewal of EU legislation on pesticides and biocides requires the definition of scientific criteria to identify “endocrine disruptors”.
