Cecilia Malmström participated for the first time at a plenary session of the European Economic and Social Committee since becoming EU Trade Commissioner today. She spoke on the benefits of TTIP, particularly for SMEs, as well as the possibility of a balanced outcome if all stakeholders worked constructively to achieve it.
