Speech: Remarks at the European Parliament on Investment in TTIP

Commissioner Malmström today presented the Commission's first thoughts on a way forward for negotiations on investment protection in the Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership, based on an ambitious reform of existing approaches. She was speaking with legislators of the European Parliament's International Trade Committee. She stressed that the Commission's ideas were not final but rather the beginning of a dialogue with Parliament and with EU Member States.
