February 2015 - MillerCoors and SolarCity announced the completion of a 3.2-megawatt (MW) capacity solar panel installation at the MillerCoors brewery in Irwindale, California. The solar system consists of more than 10,000 solar panels installed across ten acres of the MillerCoors facility. The solar array is expected to provide enough power to produce more than seven million cases of beer per year. Also, it is anticipated to reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 144 million pounds over its lifetime.
