Teacher-turned-author touches lives in stirring new book
Columbus Author Linda Kay Marcum touches readers in a stirring read of faith, passion, and a Scripture-based book, “Triumphant Living: Second Edition.”
“Triumphant Living” was written for people who have a deep yearning to know God and have a deeper, more dynamic relationship with Him. Linda Kay Marcum’s writing style is entertaining, thought-provoking and based on Scripture, it aims to help those who are searching for God to find Him by establishing a relationship with Him through His Son, the Lord Jesus Christ and to grow deeper in their faith by learning keys to effective prayer.
In an interview, Linda shares the inspiration towards becoming an established author of several books. “I was a kindergarten teacher when I felt the Lord leading me to write. I wasn't sure that I was actually hearing from God. One day a woman I had never met came up to me in a restaurant and said, ‘I have a word from the Lord for you. You will be the author of many books.’ This was the confirmation that I needed. I then became a writer. I have another book titled Living Disease-Free, which is about nutrition-- I once taught classes in weight loss and nutrition. I'm working on my third book now, ‘Life by God's Design,’ It explains the benefits Christians receive from partaking of the Feasts of the Lord.
“I have known Linda Kay Marcum but for a short time. I have found her, however, to be a genuine Christian woman. Her heart’s desire is to please the Lord and help others with her gifts. The book, Triumphant Living, is both practical and insightful. This book is an opulent source for many people who desire to grow spiritually and be encouraged in their faith,” shares J. Phillip Epperson, Director of Prayer Across America in Oak Forest, Illinois.
“Triumphant Living” reminds us with such assurance that if we live our lives walking by the Scripture, both through our joyous times and times of sorrow, that we can stand on the promises God has given us. This book was such an encouragement to me, as I was climbing a mountain and kept slipping. “Triumphant Living” helped me make it to the top,” shares Pastor Cherrie Sporeleder, of Ontonagon United Methodist Church, in Ontonagon, Michigan.
Published by Tate Publishing and Enterprises, the book will be available upon its release, through bookstores nationwide, from the publisher at www.tatepublishing.com/bookstore, or by visiting barnesandnoble.com or amazon.com.
