THE IBERDROLA BUS RECEIVED OVER 113,200 VISITS IN 2014

The IBERDROLA Bus received a total of 113,206 visitors in 2014 at the 60+ locations around Spain at which it stopped.

The Environmental Campaign that the Company has been disseminating through this medium since 2005 seeks to raise citizen awareness regarding the need to protect the environment and promote energy efficiency, as well as provide information concerning electricity generation sources that are more environmentally-respectful.

With this vehicle, IBERDROLA seeks to educate and train in the need to promote sustainable development, while offering mobile support for Company customers as it also acts as a travelling Customer Services point.

The Company has once again opened the doors of this vehicle to a variety of stakeholders: training centres, cultural institutions, the media, business groups and consumer associations.

Thus, some 840 collectives - such as students, housewives, disabled people, cultural associations and senior citizens - had the chance to learn about the bus over the course of 2014. Specifically, the bus recorded some 6,000 visitors per month, and December was a particularly successful month, when 35,305 visitors were received.

The IBERDROLA bus sets out on a tour of Spain every January in order to strengthen the ties between the Group and society at large, both in areas where it operates and in those where it has a lesser presence, and to reaffirm its brand values: respect for the environment and a commitment to innovation and internationalisation.
