The New Jersey trade show booth company donated different items every week between Thanksgiving and Christmas to benefit the Atlantic City Rescue Mission.

PINE BROOK, NJ, USA, January 24, 2015 /EINPresswire.com/ -- Skyline New Jersey donated food, toys, and funds as part of their holiday fundraising activities this year. The company and its employees usually do a holiday fundraiser, but this year put a new spin on it. For each of the four weeks between Thanksgiving and Christmas, the New Jersey trade show booth design and manufacturing company provided a different type of donation. Donations included food, clothing, toys and cash. All donations went to the Atlantic City Rescue Mission, which provides shelter, clothing, food, counseling, referrals, and structured programs for the less fortunate in Atlantic City and the surrounding communities.

"This was a great experience. By spreading the giving out over several weeks we were able to do more. More of our employees were able to participate and they were able to participate in the way that meant the most to them or even donate in several different ways. Week 1 saw the trade show exhibit company in New Jersey focus their attention on Thanksgiving. Company employees raised $500 and Skyline New Jersey matched that amount. Food for the holiday along with clothing items and overnight emergency kits were then purchased with the funds and delivered to the Mission.

During Week 2, Skyline offered a 50-50 Raffle and donated $150 to the Mission. Week 3 was the Christmas Toy Drive, which resulted in 40 toys being purchased and donated. The last week of the fundraiser was a used clothing drive. Over 100 items of clothing were donated by Skyline's employees. The clothing was to be used by individuals at the shelter or in the shelter store.
