America’s Got Talent Winner brings special guest Glenn Leonard to the Bethesda Blues and Jazz Supper Club

Landau Eugene Murphy Jr., the dreadlocked classic crooner vocalist who won season six of NBC Television’s America’s Got Talent, a one million dollar grand prize, and a Columbia Records contract, is returning to the Bethesda area – this time with special guest Glenn Leonard – to perform at The Bethesda Blues and Jazz Supper Club, at 7719 Wisconsin Avenue in Bethesda, MD at 8:00pm.

Landau will share the stage with Glenn Leonard, former lead singer of Motown legends The Temptations. Together, Landau and Glenn will perform their biggest hits for an evening of music sure to please music fans of all ages. Tickets are $35.00. Doors open at 6:00pm. For more information, including how to purchase tickets and make reservations, visit www.LandauMurphyJr.com, www.BethesdaBluesJazz.com, or call The Bethesda Blues and Jazz Supper Club at (240) 330-4500.

GLENN LEONARD, former Temptations lead vocalist, enjoyed a long, illustrious career as the first tenor and lead singer of the Tempts from 1975-1983. Glenn sang on 10 albums with the Motown legends and appeared on dozens of television specials worldwide. Glenn’s voice is the one you hear each year on the radio singing the Christmas staple “Silent Night” from the Temptations’ classic Christmas album. Glenn re-recorded “Silent Night” as a vocally powerful duet with Landau on Murphy’s “Christmas Made for Two” CD.

Glenn was a featured performer on the hugely successful Temptations’ “Reunion” tour and album, sharing the stage and recording with the likes of Eddie Kendricks, David Ruffin, Dennis Edwards, Richard Street, Otis Williams, and Melvin Franklin. He is a proud 2013 inductee into the R&B Music Hall of Fame.

Landau and Glenn will also be available after the show to meet with fans, pose for photos, autograph memorabilia, and spread New Years cheer.
