In a little known transaction Flo-Dry was quietly acquired recently by Denmark's Haarslev Industries. Since 1983 Flo-Dry has specialised in supplying low temperature rendering systems, municipal sludge drying systems, gel-bone processing, as well as plant to produce biodiesel from animal fats.


Flo-Dry has always been closely associated with Tissa Fernando, one of the first in New Zealand to spot that the nation's clean-green aura could be converted into heavy equipment sales, especially if they were customised to geographical needs.
