Local author signed to publish memoir exhibiting the life of poverty, love, faith, and hope
Local author Priscillamae Olson recently partnered with Tate Publishing to begin the publication process of her new book The End of the Road.
The End of the Road emulates Christian principles and is also a memoir with a chronological bit to it. Olson states that, “While the book displays instances of dire poverty and tears, it is also rich in laughter, love, faith, hope, versatility, resourcefulness, dreams, and goals achieved -- all of which will endure for all times.”
“Yes, you can!” are the words that Olson uses to describe her book in three words. “[The book] relates to both the positive and the negative effects of poverty. It is replete with examples of the importance of recognizing today’s realities, but setting goals and holding fast to dreams and working hard to a better future,” states Olson.
“I feel like I have been swept away to a simpler time and have been enraptured by Priscillamae Olson’s writing… The End of the Road is also the beginning of something else and the adventures and experiences that took place at Tuckaway Farm are going to bring so much joy and entertainment to your readers,” said Trinity Tate-Edgerton, owner and acquisitions editor for Tate Publishing.
Published by Tate Publishing and Enterprises, the book will be available upon its release through bookstores nationwide, from the publisher at www.tatepublishing.com/bookstore, or by visiting barnesandnoble.com or amazon.com.
Priscillamae Olson is a retired teacher, counselor and administrator. She has two children, Maylin and Glenna. Best noted for her works of art; Olson’s painting exhibit an interpretative quality that distinctly engages the viewer into an inner dialogue, her desire to paint pictures with words and her keen observance to nature inspired her to write a book.
