TAMPA, FLA. -- , UNITED STATES, November 6, 2014 /EINPresswire.com/ -- Local author signed to publish first installment of rattling saga

Local author Shankrystal Snowden has recently partnered with Tate Publishing to set in motion the publication of her book, Dr. Fox.

Dr. Fox is the first installment of a series that Snowden plans to pursue. It introduces the main character portrayed by a fun-loving physician who responds to medical emergencies in his local area.

The plot of the story was inspired by Snowden’s realization of medical concerns that people needed to be educated on, especially for kids.

When asked about their decision to sign the book, Tate Publishing acquisitions editor Raimie McDaniel responded, “We are thrilled to welcome Shankrystal to our family of Tate authors.... This beautiful series circles on the medical genre, [it] has an intriguing plot, very informative.”

Shankrystal Snowden worked as a U.S Navy Veteran and a former Correctional Officer, giving her ample experience in responding to medical emergencies. Having a degree in Business Administration and Management Accounting at Ashford University, Snowden felt the need to express her thoughts through writing due to a speech impediment. Snowden eventually worked as a Financials Foundation associate for an insurance company, but later on decided to quit her job. A month later, she wrote Dr. Fox.

Published by Tate Publishing and Enterprises, the book will be available upon its release through bookstores nationwide, from the publisher at www.tatepublishing.com/bookstore, or by visiting barnesandnoble.com or amazon.com.
