FORTVALLEY, GA. -- , UNITED STATES, November 6, 2014 /EINPresswire.com/ -- Publisher partners with local author, musician to publish action-packed thriller

Tate Publishing Enterprises has recently teamed up with local author Robert Swetz to initiate the publication of his book, Pariah.

Swetz enlivens the story through a vagabond who has the gift of sight. He teams up with FBI Agent, Clifford McNair to help solve a missing person case. In the process, they accidentally bust a white slavery ring that puts them on hot pursuit and eventually makes McNair realize what led to the Pariah’s condemnable condition.

When asked about the inspiration behind the book, Swetz responded, “I literally woke up one day with words in my head. I never know where these words come from, they’re just suddenly there. I dreamed about this story, and particularly the character of Pariah, for several months. During this time, the character of Pariah and the story behind him became more and more powerful to me.”

“The plot is great – it stands out. The scenes and the characters in the story are well described… We are thrilled to welcome Swetz into our family of Tate authors and hope to see more of his wonderful manuscripts done with us!” said Kortney Disney, the acquisitions editor for the book.

Pariah takes you to adventures and action that brings out the adrenaline in you. “I attempted to write the story a number of times during this period, but I never got more than a few paragraphs in before I realized I wasn’t happy with the results. It wasn’t until I decided to tell the story from someone else’s point of view that it all fell together. Once I started it that way, the words literally flew off my fingers as fast as I could type. It took me three full years to write the very first story I ever wrote, but I was so obsessed with Pariah, that it took me less than three months to write and do the first full edit of this book,” said Swetz.

Published by Tate Publishing and Enterprises, the book will be available upon its release through bookstores nationwide, from the publisher at www.tatepublishing.com/bookstore, or by visiting barnesandnoble.com or amazon.com.

Robert Swetz is a writer and a musician who has a degree in Information Technology. His love for entertaining an audience caused him to spend twenty-four years as a member of the Air Force Band. Eventually, he decided to put his talent on computer programming. Needing an outlet for creativity, Swetz decided to try out writing books instead of music, thus, Pariah. He and his wife, Letitia, love to spend weekends and vacation time exploring the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Georgia to fish and recharge their batteries.
