Local author Eddie Lee Gates in association with Tate Publishing, shares a riveting, mysterious detective story in his book, Nemesis.
A fork between friendship and betrayal, Nemesis is a story of two best friends, Adrian Cain and Thomas Larkin. However, things get dreadfully awry when the friendship ends after Larkins marries Kim and then disappears into thin air. Cain then goes on a mission to find his best friend and at the same time disgruntled by the information revealed on the journey to save his best friend's life on time.
When asked about his inspiration to put in writing such a mystery thriller, Gates responds, "I've always been fascinated with the concept of friendship. People who feel they know all there is to know about each other -- trusting it all without a second thought. The process has taken just under a year to complete my book, and I've enjoyed every page [I’ve] written. I believe the best friends of the world will feel just a bit different now, maybe even think twice. "
"Nemesis is an ultimate page turner. Eddie’s passion in writing the book really sizzles in every page you read… You will be guessing and speculating about what happens to Thomas and Adrian in the end!” shares Shannon Lloyd, Acquisitions Editor for Tate Publishing.
Published by Tate Publishing and Enterprises, the book is available through bookstores nationwide, from the publisher at www.tatepublishing.com/bookstore, or by visiting barnesandnoble.com or amazon.com.
Eddie Lee Gates was born and raised in Cleveland Ohio as the only son out of ten children. Unsurprisingly, Eddie's children are all girls as well and have become his main inspiration to writing.
For over fifteen years, Eddie has found his passion in writing as invigorating and when he is not with his girls or on the golf course, Eddie enjoys his solitude by thinking about his next blockbuster hit.
