ALGONQUIN, IL, USA, October 3, 2014 /EINPresswire.com/ -- Eastgate Manor will celebrate its annual “Oktoberfest” on Friday October 3, 2014. The supporting living Illinois facility will host its annual community fall event for both residents and guests. Attendees will enjoy an afternoon of fun, food and traditional German music.

The event includes lunch and live entertainment. Oktoberfest attendees are invited to sing-a-long and dance to the amazing sounds of waltzes, polkas and German folk music. Music will be provided by Eddie Korosa, Jr, an award winning Polka player. Eddie Korosa, Jr. has appeared in the media multiple times, from commercials to movies; including, “Home Alone” as part of John Candy’s Polka band. And now Korosa will be visiting the Illinois assisted living facility to enhance this Oktoberfest celebration!

Oktoberfest at Eastgage Manor takes place on Friday, October 3 from 12:15-3:30 p.m. at Eastgate Manor, 101 Eastgate Court, Algonquin, IL.
