Two New Workshops for PR Agency Account Staff and Executives: The Art of Client Service -- October 21-22, New York City
NEW YORK -
(NewMediaWire) - September 10, 2014 - PR agency account executives, supervisors, managers and senior agency
leaders who are committed to increasing their clients’ satisfaction and
reducing client attrition will find proven techniques and strategies for
achieving these goals at Bulldog Reporter’s new “The Art of Client Service: How
to Create Extraordinary Client Satisfaction and Trusted Relationships”—a set of
two workshops in New York City on October 21-22.
The
first event, a one-day client service skills workshop on October 21 is designed
for account executives, supervisors, managers and senior agency leaders,
focuses on tactics: Rules, guidelines
and best practices for front-line client service staff. The second event, a half-day client service strategy workshop on October 22 is intended to help senior agency
leaders build exceptional client service into their agencies’ day-to-day
operations and culture.
The training curriculum for both workshops is grounded in Bulldog Reporter’s recent research study, “Greatest Challenges PR Agencies Face in Satisfying Corporate Clients—and a Strategic Plan for Improving Account Retention.” The study—and the workshops—will cover:
- Why clients hire PR firm
- Which criteria clients use to choose one firm above the other
- Why clients become frustrated with their account service
- What causes disconnects and misunderstanding between clients and agencies
- Why clients terminate PR-agency relationships
- Specific steps account staff and management can take to increase client satisfaction and reduce costly client churn
Participants in either workshop receive the $695 study at no charge.
The workshops will be taught by 25-year PR agency management veteran, consultant and trainer Ken Jacobs, Principal at Jacobs Communications Consulting. In addition, Amy Binder, CEO at RF|Binder Partners will discuss lessons learned about client service from her more than 30 years on the management team at Ruder Finn and at her own firm since 2001. Finally, results of the Bulldog Reporter “Greatest Challenges PR Agencies Face in Satisfying Corporate Clients” study will be presented by James Sinkinson, Publisher at Bulldog Reporter.
