LOS ANGELES, CA, USA, September 9, 2014 /EINPresswire.com/ -- Intellivision Productions, Inc., one of the pioneering names of the video game industry, will debut its new Intellivision Flashback Classic Game Console to the public at this week’s Classic Gaming Expo in Las Vegas, Nevada. The Intellivision Flashback recreates the original video gaming experience of the award-winning Intellivision, released in 1980. It allows gamers to go back in time and rediscover that Intellivision games are just as fun now as they were then.

The Intellivision Flashback includes 60 classic games built-in, including hits such as Astrosmash, Utopia, Shark! Shark! and B-17 Bomber, as well as the best-selling Intellivision sports titles and some previously unreleased games. The Flashback easily plugs into most televisions using a standard RCA connector. It is an affordable piece of video gaming nostalgia suitable for the whole family.

This year’s Classic Gaming Expo will be the largest in its 15-year history, including a 7,000 square foot museum of historical and rare videogame artifacts and memorabilia. Attendees are made up of retro-videogame players, collectors, bloggers and reviewers. They can take part in new product demonstrations– including the Intellivision Flashback–plus enjoy an entire arcade of standup games and pinball machines set to free play, contests, chiptune concerts, movie screenings and panels of videogame VIPs, including an Intellivision Blue Sky Rangers panel with ten of the original game designers. The Expo is September 12-14 at the Riviera Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas. Tickets are $15 a day at the door.
