Webinar: EISPC Energy Zones Mapping Tool Demonstration
Argonne National Laboratory has organized a webinar demonstration of the Eastern Interconnection States’ Planning Council (EISPC) Energy Zones (EZ) Mapping Tool, a free online mapping tool for identifying areas in all 39 EISPC states that may be suitable for new clean power generation. The tool is maintained by Argonne National Laboratory with funding from the U.S. Department of Energy. The webinar will be held Tuesday, June 24, 2-4 p.m. ET.
The webinar will provide a general introduction and overview of the mapping tool, including a demonstration of new mapping layers. Guest speakers will highlight the EZ Mapping Tool's Policies, Regulations, and Incentives Database. This database includes all of the clean energy laws, regulations, incentives, and other policies in all of the EISPC states, plus Canadian provinces, related to clean energy electricity generation.
This webinar is free and open to the public. Advance registration is not required for this webinar.
