Youth, Students, and Educators: Secretary of State John Kerry to Deliver Commencement Address at Boston College

U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry will deliver the commencement address at Boston College’s 138th Commencement ceremony on Monday, May 19, 2014, at 10 a.m. in Alumni Stadium on the Boston College campus.

Secretary Kerry, a 1976 graduate of Boston College Law School, represented the Commonwealth of Massachusetts as lieutenant governor and for 28 years in the U.S. Senate before being confirmed as the nation’s 68th Secretary of State in 2013.

He will receive an honorary Doctor of Laws degree from BC President William P. Leahy, SJ, at ceremonies for 4,000 undergraduate and graduate students.
