Europe and Eurasia: Assistant Secretary for European and Eurasian Affairs Victoria Nuland Travel to Portugal, Spain, Norway and Denmark
On April 27, Assistant Secretary Nuland will travel to Lisbon, Portugal, where she will meet with senior Portuguese government officials to discuss the range of issues on our bilateral agenda. She will also meet with parliamentarians and participate in a roundtable with young entrepreneurs.
In Madrid, Spain, Assistant Secretary Nuland will meet with senior Spanish government officials to discuss bilateral and regional issues. She will also speak with members of the Embassy Youth Council about their efforts to encourage youth entrepreneurship.
Assistant Secretary Nuland will then travel to Oslo, Norway, on April 30, where she will meet with senior Norwegian government officials to discuss the range of bilateral and global issues on which we cooperate. She will also meet with parliamentarians and local think tanks to discuss regional security issues.
In Copenhagen, Denmark, Assistant Secretary Nuland will meet with senior Danish government officials on May 1 to discuss bilateral and regional issues. She will also meet with business and political leaders.
