Oil & Gas UK congratulates Rt. Hon. Nicky Morgan MP on new role

On the announcement the Rt. Hon. Nicky Morgan MP has been appointed as Financial Secretary to the Treasury and Minister for Women, Oil & Gas UK chief executive Malcolm Webb commented:

“Oil & Gas UK congratulates Nicky Morgan MP on her new role as Financial Secretary to the Treasury and Minister for Women. We also welcome the fact that the Minister will retain the North Sea oil and gas portfolio following this promotion.

"A strong and stable relationship with Government is vital for our sector and we look forward to continuing to work with the Minister, particularly on the forthcoming review of the industry’s tax regime and on the implementation of the Wood Report.”
