UAW mourns the loss of William Clay Ford, Sr.
DETROIT – UAW President Bob King today issued this statement on behalf of the members and retirees of the UAW, on the passing of William Clay Ford, Sr.:
“The UAW mourns the loss of Bill Ford Sr. and extends deepest sympathy to the entire Ford family. His vision and leadership helped create the unique relationship that exists between the Ford family and our UAW Ford members. This relationship is a critical factor in the success and long term viability of Ford Motor Company.
