Climate, Environment, and Conservation: Secretary Kerry To Deliver Remarks at The Economist's World Ocean Summit 2014
Secretary of State John Kerry will deliver the opening remarks at the World Ocean Summit 2014 via video teleconference at 12:15 p.m. on February 25, 2014.
The World Ocean Summit 2014 is being held in Half Moon Bay, California, from February 23-26, hosted by The Economist in association with the National Geographic Society.
The Summit will consist of leaders from government, international organizations, non-government organizations, businesses, think-tanks, and academia for a dialogue on oceans governance and sustainability.
Secretary Kerry’s remarks will address the threats posed to the world’s oceans and highlight the need for national and international action on ocean conservation.
