Shantel was admitted to the Florida Bar in 2012 after graduating from Barry University School of Law with a Juris Doctorate and Children and Family Law Certificate. She was raised in West Palm Beach, FL before moving to Orlando in 2004 to attend the University of Central Florida, where she received her Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice with a minor in Legal Studies in 2007.

Prior to joining the firm, Shantel worked as an associate attorney and law clerk for the Law Offices of Stage & Associates, as an executive assistant at Mutual of Omaha Insurance Company, and as a Student Advisor for Kaplan Test Prep and Admissions.
