South and Central Asia: Senior Advisor for Burma Judith Cefkin Travels to U.K., Bangladesh, and Burma
Senior Advisor for Burma Judith Cefkin will travel to the United Kingdom, Bangladesh, and Burma, January 30 – February 8, to consult with international partners — including senior government officials and civil society groups — on reforms and other developments in Burma. In particular, she will discuss U.S. policies, the peace process, human rights, and international support to local efforts that advance reform.
Senior Advisor Cefkin will be in London January 30-February 1; Dhaka February 2-3; and Rangoon, Naypyitaw, and other Burmese cities February 3-8.
