Ryan Dalziel to Commandeer Continental Tire’s Twitter Account During Rolex 24 at Daytona

  • 2010 Rolex 24 at Daytona winner, Ryan Dalziel, to provide drivers perspective throughout the race week on Continental Tire’s Twitter account, @continentaltire.

Ft. Mill, S.C. – January 22, 2014.   For the second year in a row, Continental Tire will hand over the Twitter reigns to a driver for the Rolex 24 at Daytona.  Ryan Dalziel, driver of the No. 1 Patron ESM HPD Prototype (P) in the Tudor United SportsCar Championship, will commandeer Continental Tire’s Twitter account (@continentaltire) for the duration of the race week.  Dalziel will give fans a behind-the-scenes look into what a driver is thinking and doing, on and off-track.  Dalziel’s tweets will be designated using, #RDalziel.

“To have the insight of a championship driver like Ryan is remarkable,” said Travis Roffler, director of marketing for Continental Tire.  “Ryan’s knowledge and passion for sports car racing is second-to-none and we’re grateful to have him as part of our social media team for this year’s Rolex 24 at Daytona.  We encourage fans to interact with Ryan throughout the race week and we look forward to his perspective in real-time.”

Dalziel will tweet his perspective on paddock happenings and his journey through the 24-hour race.  Fans are also encouraged to submit questions to @continentaltire for Dalziel using, #RDalziel, as he will entertain questions.
