Europe and Eurasia: Under Secretary Wendy R. Sherman Travel to Switzerland
Under Secretary Sherman will travel to Switzerland January 20-24, 2014.
On January 20, Under Secretary Sherman will travel to Geneva, Switzerland for meetings with the political directors of the P5+1 (China, France, Russia, the UK, United States plus Germany, coordinated by EU High Representative Catherine Ashton) on next steps for negotiations with Iran on a comprehensive solution to concerns about its nuclear program.
On January 21, Under Secretary Sherman will travel to Montreux, Switzerland to join Secretary Kerry for the Geneva II talks on Syria. She will travel back to Geneva on January 23 for follow-on negotiations for the Geneva II conference.
