EPA Announces a Public Meeting and Public Comment Period for the Proposed Listing of the Walker Machine Products Site in Collierville, TN to the National Priorities List (NPL)

(ATLANTA – December 13, 2013) The United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has proposed Walker Machine Products site in Collierville, TN to the NPL and will host a public meeting to outline the NPL process, explain the timeframe for NPL listing and describe how the public can submit comments. A public meeting will be held on Monday, December 16, 2013 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm in the Halle Meeting Room of the Lucius E and Elsie C. Burch, Jr. Collierville Library located at 501 Poplar View Pkwy.

EPA is conducting a 60-day public comment period from December 12, 2013, to February 10, 2014, to seek public input on the proposed listing to the NPL. During the comment period, the public is encouraged to review and offer comments relating to the proposed listing.
