In 2012 the creator of the documentary feature film Inner Worlds Outer Worlds, Canadian filmmaker Daniel Schmidt released his award-winning film for free so that it could be seen by as many people as possible. Daniel made a tough decision to release the film on a “pay what you can” basis, going against the advice of virtually everyone he met in the film business. To the amazement of the experts, in the 12 months that the film has been available he received enough money in donations and blu-ray sales to create his next film.

In the ancient knowledge traditions which the film expounds, the most important teachings were always given for free in order to ensure their purity.
