Local families and businesses are encouraged to become involved, with sponsorships at all levels.

Gellerman Orthodontics invites families and local businesses to sign up for the second annual Kiss Cancer Good-Bye walk on Saturday, September 28 at Heckscher Park in Huntington, 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM. Kiss Cancer Good-Bye will feature several group walks around Heckscher Pond, activities for kids with a focus on healthy living and performances from area dance schools. Kiss Cancer Good-Bye proceeds are donated to the American Cancer Society.

“Last year’s walk was a great success, and we are excited about bringing Kiss Cancer Good-Bye back to Heckscher Park this year. Huntington area residents, including families with young children, can show their support in the fight against cancer with a local event,” explained Dr. Inna Gellerman, Gellerman Orthodontics. “By partnering with the American Cancer Society, we are raising awareness and funds to support individuals and families and research for those suffering from all different kinds of cancers.”

Local businesses and families are encouraged to become involved, with sponsorships at all levels, from T-shirt sponsors to trail signs, sponsor tables and educational activities. Participants will also receive free admission to the Heckscher Museum of Art on Saturday, September 28. A Memory Line will give participants a chance to pay tribute to cancer survivors or honor the memory of loved ones.
