The famous actor Lorenzo Lamas recently flew one of Group 3 Aviation’s helicopters on the reality television show Wife Swap.

LOS ANGELES, CA, USA, August 13, 2013 /EINPresswire.com/ -- Group 3 Aviation’s helicopters were recently given a cameo appearance on an extremely popular television show that featured Lorenzo Lamas. In a recent episode of Wife Swap Lorenzo flew a Robinson 44 helicopter provided by Group 3 Aviation. Lorenzo also flies a Schweizer 269C-1 for his flight instructor certification course. Lorenzo is working on his certification to become an FAA Flight Instructor in Rotorcraft/Helicopter through one of Group 3 Aviation’s training programs.

Lorenzo became a well-known actor during the 1980’s when he was featured on soap operas such as Falcon Crest and the Bold and the Beautiful. He has more recently been known for his reality television features on his own show Leave it to Lamas which featured his family as well as being a judge on the ABC network reality show Are You Hot? Lorenzo is also known for his starring role on Renegade which aired for 5 seasons straight and produced close to 110 episodes between 1992-1997.

His most recent appearance was on Celebrity Wife Swap where he and comedian Andy Dick traded spouses. One of the scenes of this episode featured Lorenzo flying one of Group 3 Aviation’s Robinson R44 Raven II helicopters. During 2001, Lorenzo obtained his helicopter certificates in helicopters with Group 3 Aviation adding on to to his Fixed Wing ratings.
